Hello and thank you for stopping by our volunteer page! SPARC and our animals rely heavily on the help of nice people like you. We love animals just like you do, and we are so grateful when people join us in caring for and loving our animals! Any time that you spend with them will make them so happy AND help find them a home. Socializing the animals is SO important as it gets our animals comfortable with different people and makes them more adoptable.

Other ways that you can help SPARC include assisting with events, community outreach, fundraising, maintenance work around the facility, animal photography/videography, gardening, assisting in the office, etc. Please let us know how you would like to get involved and we will put you to work!

We love children and our SPARC pets do too, but unfortunately for insurance reasons, children under the age of 18 are not allowed to interact directly with the animals.  However, there are other FUN options available, including reading to the animals.  Please contact us!
